Director Robert Eggers and cinematographer Jarin Blaschke – in Prague! Do not miss the unique opportunity to meet the filmmakers whose work includes The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019), and The Northman (2022) – some of the most original and critically acclaimed contemporary genre films. Join us at the talk organised by Cinergy and Famufest, where you’ll have a chance to meet two successful producers – Klaudia Smieja-Rostworowska from Poland, whose credits include Lamb (2021), Charlatan (2020) or High Life (2018) and Dyveke Bjorkly Graver from Norway, the executive producer of the Oscar-nominated The Worst Person in The World (2021). The talk will be hosted by a Czech producer & the head of the Department of Producing at FAMU Karla Stojáková.

The internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Volker Bertelmann (original score for Lion, Ammonite, Patrick Melrose), who goes by the name Hauschka in his solo work was the last guest in 2022. During the talk, we will touch upon Volker’s journey from solo composer to film scoring, his creative process, and his cooperation with various directors.
